Senior Manager

This role is ideal for highly experienced business development and partnership professionals with a strong background in sports management, engineering, or related business fields. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience, a proven track record in closing deals, and an established network within the Indian sports ecosystem. The position suits individuals who are commercially minded, excellent communicators, and comfortable with frequent Pan-India travel. A postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) with relevant experience is highly valued, as is familiarity with government grants and sports analytics.

This is a temporary, contract-based position initially for one year, which might not appeal to those seeking permanent government employment or long-term job security from the outset. Individuals lacking significant business development, sales, or partnerships experience (minimum 5 years) in relevant sectors (sports organizations, sports-tech, government sports bodies) will find it challenging. Those uncomfortable with extensive Pan-India travel (8-10 days/month) should not apply. The role is highly specialized, so generalists or those without a clear interest in the sports-tech ecosystem may not be a good fit.
