Project Assistant

This role is ideal for candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries Science, Zoology, Marine Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science and Technology, or Nutrition from a recognized university. It suits individuals aspiring to gain valuable R&D experience in food and biomedical applications, particularly those interested in temporary contractual work at a prestigious central government research institution like CSIR-CFTRI in Mysuru. Candidates with a Master's degree in related fields and hands-on expertise in protein/peptide purification and biochemical analysis will be highly preferred.

This position is not suitable for individuals seeking permanent government employment, as it is purely temporary and contractual without a right to regularization. Applicants whose essential qualification results are awaited or who are in their final semester are ineligible. Additionally, candidates who have already served as Project Staff in any CSIR Lab/Institute for a cumulative period of 6 years or more are not eligible to apply.
