Job Analysis

AI-generated insights

Best-Fit Profile

This role is ideal for highly motivated candidates with a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemistry, or Energy Engineering, possessing either an M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc./M.S. or B.E./B.Tech degree with the specified minimum marks/CGPA. Preference is given to GATE-qualified individuals with an aptitude for experimental procedures, catalyst development, characterization techniques, and computational tools for data analysis. It is an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to gain research experience in CO2 conversion technologies and potentially pursue a Ph.D. at NIT Warangal.

Important Considerations

Candidates who do not meet the precise educational qualification criteria or the specified minimum aggregate marks/CGPA should not apply. Individuals seeking permanent employment or those without a strong interest in research and experimental work related to heterogeneous catalysis will find this role unsuitable, as it is purely temporary and project-based.

Career Impact

Working as a Junior Research Fellow at the National Institute of Technology Warangal, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, offers significant prestige and a valuable foundation for a career in academia or industrial R&D. This position provides exposure to cutting-edge research, a pathway to Ph.D. registration, and enhances long-term career prospects in specialized fields like sustainable energy and catalysis.
