Project Assistant II, Project Associate I & Other Posts

Ideal candidates are highly qualified engineers and scientists (B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, M.Sc., Diploma, B.Sc.) with a strong background in Metallurgical, Materials, Chemical, or related Engineering/Science disciplines. Preference is given to those who have qualified national eligibility tests like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE, or other national-level exams conducted by Central Government Departments. Individuals with 2 years of R&D experience (for Project Associate-II) and those seeking temporary, project-bound research roles within a prestigious national laboratory will find these positions suitable.

Candidates seeking permanent government employment should not apply, as these are purely temporary, contract-based project positions with no rights for regularization or absorption into CSIR-NML. Individuals who have already served as Project Staff in CSIR-NML or any other CSIR Lab/Institute for 6 years or more are not eligible. Those who do not meet the specific educational qualifications (including NET/GATE for certain posts) or age limits for the respective posts will be rejected. This is a walk-in interview, so candidates unable to attend in person with all required documents should not apply.
