Director Systems, Electrical & Rolling Stock

This role is ideal for highly seasoned engineering professionals with a distinguished career of at least 25 years in Group 'A' or Executive Service within Railways or equivalent organizations. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering. Critically, 5 years of this experience must be directly in Metro Rail, Rolling Stock, Railway Electrification, Traction, E&M, Signaling, or Telecommunications projects. The ideal applicant will have a proven track record in project planning, execution, commissioning, and operations & maintenance within large-scale Mass Rapid Transit Systems, demonstrating strong leadership and a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols.

Individuals with less than 25 years of overall experience, or insufficient specific experience (less than 5 years) in Metro Rail or related system domains, should not apply. Those without a relevant Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, E&C) will not be considered. Candidates outside the age bracket of 45-57 years (without exceptional justification) will also find this role unsuitable. This position requires deep, hands-on experience in complex rail systems, making it unsuitable for those seeking entry-level or mid-career opportunities.
