This role is ideal for fresh MBBS graduates who have recently completed their internship (within the last two years) and possess a valid Delhi Medical Council Registration. Candidates seeking initial experience in a government healthcare setup on a temporary basis will find this opportunity suitable. Those with up to one year of junior residency experience may also be considered if fresh candidates are unavailable.

Individuals who completed their MBBS internship more than two years ago (before 04-08-2024) are not eligible. Candidates seeking a permanent position or higher number of vacancies should look elsewhere, as this is a temporary appointment for only 05 posts. Applicants from outside Delhi or those without a Delhi Medical Council registration may face challenges.

Working as a Junior Resident at Dr. Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan, a government hospital under the NCT of Delhi, offers valuable clinical exposure and contributes to public health service. While the initial appointment is temporary (44 days, extendable up to 1 year), it provides a good foundation for a medical career and strengthens a doctor's CV. The pay scale (Level 10) is respectable for a junior medical role within the government sector.
