Ministry of Defence Inks ₹661.50 Crore Contract for BrahMos Fire Control Systems and Launchers
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) signed a contract valued at ₹661.50 crore in New Delhi on 6 October 2026 with BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited (BAPL) for the procurement of BrahMos Fire Control Systems (BFCS) and Launchers for Indian Navy frontline warships.

- High Indigenous Content: Mandates a minimum 68% indigenous content (IC), actively integrating domestic private industry partners and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) into the naval supply chain.
