The Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) is responsible for conducting direct recruitment for Group 'C' posts in the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department of Uttarakhand.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must possess a Diploma in Dental Hygienist from an institution recognized by the Indian Dental Council.
Candidate must be registered with the Dentist Registration Tribunal, Uttarakhand.

Age Limit Details

Minimum age: 18 years, Maximum age: 42 years as on 01 July 2025.
Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Uttarakhand.
Age relaxation of 5 years for Dependents of Freedom Fighters of Uttarakhand.
Age relaxation of 10 years for Persons with Disabilities of Uttarakhand.
Ex-servicemen of Uttarakhand will be allowed to deduct their period of service in the armed forces from their actual age, provided the resulting age does not exceed the prescribed maximum age limit by more than 3 years.

The pay scale for Dental Hygienist posts is ₹9300 - ₹34800 with a Grade Pay of ₹4200.
