The selected candidates will be compensated as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with levels ranging from PL-06 to PL-09 depending on the post. In addition to the basic pay, other benefits applicable to the institute from time to time include Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance (in lieu of accommodation), Transport Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, and Medical Facilities. Selected candidates will also be covered under the National Pension System (NPS).

Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the BRIC-inStem website's Careers section, specifically the 'Open positions' portal at https://www.instem.res.in/jobportal/. The application process involves:

1. Submitting online application forms before the last date (September 25, 2026).
2. Ensuring the application is complete in all respects, including uploading a photograph, signature, and successful payment of the prescribed fee (if applicable). Incomplete or defective applications will be summarily rejected.
3. Candidates currently employed in Government, Public Sector Undertakings, State Government, or Autonomous Organizations must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of Skill Test/Interview.

The selection process will include evaluation of application forms by a Scrutiny Committee, followed by a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and interview, Skill Test, and Trade Test (where applicable) for shortlisted candidates. The scheme of examination and syllabus will be announced separately.

• Application Fee: ₹472/- (₹400/- plus 18% GST) for UR, EWS & OBC(NCL) candidates applying for Post Codes 02/26 and 04/26 to 13/26.
• Exemptions: SC/ST, Women, Ex-Servicemen, and PwBD categories are exempted from paying the application fee as per Government of India guidelines.
• Bank/Transaction Charges must be borne by the candidate. The fee is non-refundable unless the advertisement is withdrawn/cancelled by the Competent Authority.
