Best-Fit Profile

This role is ideal for individuals holding a Master's degree (M.Pharm/M.S./M.Tech) in Medicinal Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry, particularly those with a first-class qualification or a second-class degree combined with one year of research experience. Candidates who have qualified national-level examinations like GATE/GPAT/CSIR-UGC-NET, and possess a strong background in drug design, NCEs synthesis, or organic synthesis, will be highly suitable. It's best for those seeking a temporary, project-based research opportunity within a prestigious academic setting.

Important Considerations

Individuals without the specified Master's degrees in Medicinal Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry should not apply. Those primarily seeking permanent government employment or a role with long-term job security will find this temporary, project-limited position unsuitable. Applicants expecting travel allowances or daily allowances for interviews will also be disappointed, as none will be provided.

Career Impact

Working at IIT(BHU), a premier institution, on an ICMR-funded project offers significant prestige and exposure to cutting-edge research in cancer treatment. This experience will greatly enhance a candidate's profile for future academic pursuits, PhD programs, or roles in pharmaceutical research and development. While the position is temporary and co-terminus with the project, the quality of research and institutional affiliation provide strong professional growth opportunities, particularly for those aspiring to a career in scientific research.
