Project Associate I Forestry Ecology & Project Associate I Urban Rural Planning

This role is ideal for postgraduates (Master's/Integrated Master's) in Natural Sciences, Forestry, Ecology, Urban/Rural Planning, or Architecture. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology related to Planning/Architecture are also eligible for the Urban/Rural Planning post. Those with relevant desirable experience in field surveys, resource mapping, city planning, or master plan development will be preferred. Individuals seeking a time-bound, contract-based project role within a prestigious central government autonomous body, and available for an immediate walk-in interview in New Delhi, are well-suited.

Candidates looking for permanent government employment should not apply, as this is a purely temporary, contractual position co-terminus with the project duration (maximum until January 15, 2027). Aspirants who cannot attend the walk-in interview on July 3, 2026, in New Delhi, or those whose essential qualifications are still awaiting results, are not eligible. The very limited number of vacancies (2 posts) might also be a dealbreaker for some.
