The National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, located in Telangana.

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in ECE with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6 CGPA on a 10-point scale), OR M.E/M.Tech/MS in ECE (specializing in optics, photonics, or allied fields) with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6 CGPA). Current second-year M.E/M.Tech students can also apply.
Desired Qualification: Good knowledge in fiber optics, photonics technology, mathematical modelling, and simulation software like MATLAB/Optisystem/Photonics. A GATE score is preferable.
Selected candidates are eligible for the Ph.D. degree at NIT Warangal as per institute rules.

Age Limit Details

Age relaxation will be as per government norms and guidelines.

The emoluments for the post are as follows:

Rs. 37,000 per month for the first two years.
Rs. 42,000 per month for the third year.

HRA will be provided based on project and Institute norms.
