The National Health Mission (NHM) is a flagship program under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Punjab, dedicated to improving the health outcomes of the population within the state.

Educational Qualification

For Senior Consultant Obs. & Gynaecology: MBBS with DNB/MD/MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) or equivalent.
For Senior Consultant Paediatrics: MBBS with DNB/MD in Paediatrics or equivalent.
For Senior Consultant Medicine: MBBS with DNB/MD (General Medicine/internal medicine) or equivalent.
For Senior Consultant TB & Chest Disease: MBBS with DNB/MD (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases/Pulmonary Medicine) or equivalent.
All candidates must be registered with the Punjab Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
Candidates should have passed the subject of Punjabi up to Matric standard.

Age Limit Details

The candidate should not be more than 67 years of age as on the last date of submission of application.

A Walk-in-Interview will be conducted on 03.12.2025 at 9:00 am.
Candidates must carefully read all guidelines and instructions mentioned on the official website before appearing for the interview.
Applicants must bring their original testimonials related to qualification, experience, Punjabi up to Matriculation, age proof, etc.
One self-attested photocopy of all such documents must be submitted.
Candidates must also bring 2 latest passport-size photographs at the time of the interview.
