Best-Fit Profile

This role is ideal for dedicated academics holding a Master's degree in Education or a related discipline with at least 55% marks, coupled with NET qualification. Candidates with a Ph.D. (especially those compliant with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 or from top-ranked global universities) are exempt from NET and highly encouraged to apply. Individuals committed to a teaching career in a collegiate setting under the University of Delhi framework will find this position rewarding. Aspirants seeking a permanent, Central Government-affiliated academic post in Delhi should consider this opportunity.

Important Considerations

Candidates who do not meet the minimum educational qualifications (Postgraduate with 55% marks plus NET or a qualifying Ph.D.) should not apply. Those unwilling to work in Delhi or seeking positions with significantly higher vacancy counts might find this less suitable. The application process is strictly online, and incomplete applications or those without requisite fees for applicable categories will be rejected. Individuals expecting TA/DA for interviews should note it will not be provided.

Career Impact

Maharshi Valmiki College of Education, being a constituent college of the prestigious University of Delhi, offers a stable and reputable career path in Central Government academia. While the number of vacancies is limited (06 posts), securing a position here offers significant institutional prestige and potential for long-term growth within the higher education sector in India's capital.
