Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Master of Arts (M.A.) in Hindi with at least 55% marks.
- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with Hindi as a teaching subject from a UGC-recognized university or institution.
- Must have studied Hindi as an elective subject during graduation for a period of three years.
- Alternatively, any other equivalent qualification may be accepted if a certificate of equivalency is issued by a recognized University in accordance with UGC guidelines.
