Best-Fit Profile

This recruitment is ideally suited for qualified graduates and postgraduates with a B.Ed or BP.Ed, holding a TET (Paper-2) or CTET qualification (for posts 1-6), who are aspiring for stable Group C teaching positions in Karnataka State Government residential schools. Candidates with strong subject knowledge and a desire to contribute to residential education, particularly those with a command of Kannada, will find this opportunity suitable.

Important Considerations

Individuals lacking the essential educational qualifications, including the mandatory B.Ed/BP.Ed or equivalent, or the necessary TET/CTET certification (for relevant posts), should not apply. Those unable to meet the age criteria or unwilling to serve in various residential school locations across Karnataka may find this unsuitable. Candidates who cannot apply online or are not comfortable with negative marking in competitive exams should also reconsider.

Career Impact

Teaching positions within the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) offer a reputable and stable career path within the state's education sector. While the initial posting might be in residential schools across Karnataka, it provides a valuable platform for professional growth and public service, contributing significantly to the educational development of students in residential settings. The Group C classification ensures a structured career progression within the state government framework.
