IRCTC Consultant for Control Office Recruitment 2026 (1 Post)

• Candidates must have passed 10th standard from a recognized Board.
• Preference will be given to Graduates in any stream from a recognized University.

As per HR policy, re-employed employees can work up to a maximum age of 65 years. However, on the date of notification (02-09-2026), the age of the retired employee should not exceed 64 years.

• A fixed monthly amount will be admissible, calculated by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement.
• The fixed remuneration will remain unchanged for the contract term.
• Entitlement for Conveyance allowance, Uniform Allowance, and Mobile charges will be as per IRCTC's policy; no other allowances are admissible.
• TA/DA/lodging charges for duty tours will be as per IRCTC's policy for equivalent scales.

Interested eligible retired employees must submit their application in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) along with self-attested photocopies of the following documents:

• PPO (as per 7th CPC)
• Service Certificate
• Last Pay slip
• Aadhar card
• Proof of identity and residence
• Two recent passport size photographs
• Documents supporting working experience as mentioned in the proforma

The duly filled application form with enclosures must be sent:

1. In a sealed cover, subscribed “Engagement of Consultant/Control Office at South Zone” to reach the following address on or before September 17, 2026:
   The Group General Manager,
   IRCTC South Zone, 6A The Rain Tree Place,
   No.9 Mc Nichols Road,
   Chetpet, Chennai -31.
2. The scanned application form along with enclosures must also be sent mandatorily to the email ID [email protected] on or before the closing date (September 17, 2026).

Applications received after the last date will not be entertained. Candidates shortlisted will be intimated via e-mail for interviews.
