The ICMR - National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune, is an autonomous organization operating under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. It functions as a constituent unit of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), dedicated to health research and serving the nation.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Hindi from a recognized university, with English as a compulsory or optional subject at the graduation level or having studied through English medium. Additionally, a Diploma in Hindi-English translation is required.

Age Limit Details

The maximum age limit is 40 years as of December 11, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.

The consolidated remuneration will be Rs. 42,000/- per month. Selected candidates will not be entitled to any other allowances such as daily allowance, house rent allowance, transport allowance, CCA (Child Care Allowance), residential telephone, transport, CGHS, private staff, medical facility, or housing facility.
