Government of Tamil Nadu MRB Recruitment 2025 – 1100 Assistant Surgeon (General) Posts

The scale of pay for Assistant Surgeon (General) is Level-22 (Rs. 56,100 - 2,05,700). The pay of the post is subject to modifications made by the Government from time to time.

• Candidates must apply only through online mode via the official website: www.mrb.tn.gov.in.
• Before applying, candidates should prepare scanned images of a colour photograph (with placard indicating name and date of photo) and signature as per the specifications detailed in the notification.
• A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number are mandatory for registration and will be used for all communications from MRB. These must be kept active until the declaration of results.
• On the Home Page, click the “Online Registration” link and select “Assistant Surgeon (General)” post.
• Fill in all the required particulars without skipping any field. Candidates are advised to fill the application form with utmost care as no modifications will be allowed after the last date for online application.
• Candidates are required to upload their scanned colour photograph and signature. An online application is incomplete without these uploads and will be rejected.
• Payment of fees can only be done through online mode (Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Mobile Wallet).
• After successful submission of payment information, a Registration Number and Password will be generated. Candidates should note these for future reference.
• Candidates can save/print their application in PDF format after submission.
• Do not send printouts of the online application or any supporting documents to the Board. Certificates will be verified only when candidates become eligible for the next stage of selection.
