Best-Fit Profile

This recruitment is ideally suited for skilled technical professionals holding relevant Engineering Degrees, Diplomas, or ITI/NAC certificates, coupled with mandatory Craft Instructor Certificates and practical experience in industrial or teaching environments. Candidates must have a strong academic foundation (10th pass with Science and Math) and proficiency in Punjabi. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking stable government employment in Punjab in technical education, offering good pay and clear career progression.

Important Considerations

Candidates who lack the National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) (though degree/diploma holders have three years to acquire it post-appointment), do not meet the specified minimum experience (1-3 years depending on qualification), or fail to meet the Punjabi language proficiency requirement at the Matriculation level should not apply. Additionally, those who exceed the age limits without applicable relaxations, or are unwilling to commit to acquiring the NCIC within three years, will find this role unsuitable.

Career Impact

Recruitment by SSSB Punjab for Group-B, C, and D services indicates a reputable state government position. Craft Instructors play a vital role in technical skill development, offering job security and a clear pay scale (Level 6). The requirement to acquire an NCIC suggests an emphasis on professional development and maintaining high instructional standards, enhancing long-term career prospects within the state's technical education sector.
