Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor

Appointments will be made as per the University Act and Statute. Pay and other allowances applicable to faculty members will be admissible as sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time. The pay structure shall be as approved by the Government of Odisha.

• Professor: Pay Level-14 as per 7th CPC
• Associate Professor: Pay Level-13A as per 7th CPC
• Assistant Professor: Pay Level-10 as per 7th CPC

Candidates must submit their applications online through the HIMS Portal (https://hims.odisha.gov.in/) which will be accessible from May 07, 2026. The online application must be completed in all respects and all necessary supporting documents uploaded on or before June 10, 2026 (midnight).

In addition to the online submission, candidates are required to send a hard copy of the downloaded submitted application along with all relevant documents via Speed Post. This hard copy must reach the Registrar, Berhampur University, Bhanja Bihar, Berhampur-760007, Dist-Ganjam (Odisha) on or before June 20, 2026. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed with "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [Post Name]" along with the advertisement number and date.

• Candidates already employed in Government/Public Sector Enterprises/Autonomous bodies must forward their application through the proper channel or furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent authority/employer.
• Upload documents in PDF/image format and a photograph (JPEG, less than 200 kb), ensuring readability.
• Applications without the applicable fee will be summarily rejected.

• For General and SEBC category: Rs. 2000/-
• For SC, ST, PWD, and Women candidates: Rs. 1000/-

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online as per the bank details provided in the online portal. Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each position and pay the corresponding application fee for each.
