Associate Professor, Assistant Professor & Other Posts

• Level 13A: For Associate Professor posts, with a pay scale ranging from Rs. 1,31,400 to Rs. 2,17,100.
• Level 10: For Assistant Professor, Assistant Director, and Assistant Librarian posts, with a pay scale ranging from Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400.

The selection process for Assistant Professor, Assistant Director, and Assistant Librarian posts will involve:

• An OMR-based written examination consisting of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
• A Descriptive test to assess Research Aptitude and Writing Skills.
• Assessment Criteria including Video presentation and PPT presentation for shortlisted candidates.
• Document Verification and a Face-to-Face Interview.

For the post of Associate Professor, there will be no written examination. Selection will be based on shortlisting, assessment criteria (Video presentation, Research skill & PPT presentation), and an interview process.

Examination Schedules for various subjects:

• Register and fill the online application form for the desired post(s) and subject(s).
• Pay the requisite application and processing fee online based on your category and pay level.
• Upload clear, high-quality scanned copies of all required documents (certificates, publications, etc.).
• After successful online submission, candidates must forward a duly signed hard copy of the application along with self-attested copies of all supporting documents (including proof of fee payment) to: The Registrar, Central Sanskrit University, 56-57, Institutional Area, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058.
• The hard copy must reach the University within 15 days from the last date of online application (i.e., by 2026-07-25).
• The envelope containing the hard copy must be clearly superscribed with the Advertisement Number and the name of the post/subject applied for.
• Candidates in service must submit a "NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE" from their employer at the time of document verification/interview.
• Ensure all eligibility requirements (qualifications, experience, age) are met as on the closing date of online application.

Payment is accepted through online mode only. Fee is non-refundable and separate fees are required for each subject/post applied for. Relaxation in fees is provided as per Govt. of India guidelines.
