All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati is an autonomous body operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It is located in Changsari, Assam.

Educational Qualification

Essential: MD/DNB - Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry from an NMC recognized institution.
Desirable:
- Any post-doctoral/fellowship qualifications including PDF/DM in Addiction Psychiatry.
- At least 2 research publications in PUBMED indexed journals.
- Research experience in mental health related projects.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit for the post is 40 years as on the last date of the application. The notification does not specify any age relaxation for different categories.

The selected candidate for the post of Senior Resident/Specialist Medical Officer will receive a consolidated monthly emolument of approximately Rs. 1,40,000/-. No other allowances or facilities will be admissible.
